Type 430 Stainless Steel Coil, Strip and Sheet
Type 430 Stainless Steel Coil – Strip – Sheet (annealed) is a ferritic chromium stainless steel with corrosion and heat resistance superior to Types 409 and 410. It has a lower alloy content than Type 304 and it is used for highly polished trim applications in mild atmospheres. The hardness can be increased moderately by cold working, but the alloy cannot be hardened by heat treatment. Typically used in the annealed condition.
